I see you in the stars

I see you in the stars
Sometimes so clear
Other times hidden
In the haze of clouds
When you are clear
Your beauty is most
Apparent, near
Strangely, clarity
Often comes with cold
And haze with heat
Tonight, though
You are bright
And I walk slowly
I enjoy both -
The cold and the light
Amen – that is, I believe.

1st comment explains what I was thinking.
What was I thinking?
I usually walk my dog, Bailey, late at night. Often times, I am rushing just to get it done. Sometimes, however, I take the time to really enjoy it.
Some research I read (within the last 5 years or so) suggests that many of us believe in God. So hopefully you are someone that can relate to this.
There’s something deeper about how God is near to us and our perception of that nearness in various times. I’m referring to that in the “Strangely†stanza.
I know this one is a little less refined. I’m a little like that. I’m not really a poet’s poet.
