Calm, but frustrated
At the tension between
What works?
and
What matters?
There’s something
- Right here
That matters
But what?

1st comment explains what I was thinking.
I’m not even sure if this is a poem, but it’s fun to play with line breaks to accent a thought or two. I wish I could do more with the formatting here to further accentuate, but it’s not that important right now.
What matters? That is an awesome question. I’m learning to ask that question more often. It has always been there, but lately a book by Peter Block has me thinking much more about it. The book is The Answer to How? Is Yes: Acting On What Matters.
I’m chewing on it. Slowly. And enjoying the flavors.
I’ll be describing more of those savory experiences here as well.
Actually, now that I think about it, the answer to the last line of the poem is probably “Asking the question.†That’s what matters.
